2. Services Description

101 Group provides mental health and therapy services including individual therapy, couples and family counselling, anxiety and trauma treatment, and psychological assessments. Services may be delivered in person or via telehealth.

Our services are not a substitute for emergency mental health care. If you are in crisis, please contact emergency services (000) or a crisis helpline such as Lifeline (13 11 14).

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age to book services directly. Minors may access services with parental or guardian consent. By using our services you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

We understand emergencies happen. Compassionate exceptions may be granted at our discretion for documented emergencies.

6. Fees and Payment

Session fees are communicated prior to booking. All fees are in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.

Payment is processed securely via Stripe. By providing payment information you authorise us to charge the applicable fees. We accept all major credit and debit cards.

Receipts are provided by email after each session. For private health insurance rebates, ask your therapist for a receipt in the appropriate format.

7. Refund Policy

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy. In summary:

Stripe processes all refunds. Refund timeframes depend on your bank (typically 5–10 business days).

8. Professional Standards

All clinicians are registered with the appropriate Australian professional body (e.g., AHPRA for psychologists). Our practitioners adhere to their respective professional codes of ethics and conduct.

Therapy is a professional relationship. Any romantic, sexual, or financial relationships outside the therapeutic context are strictly prohibited.

9. Confidentiality

All clinical information is confidential. Exceptions include mandatory reporting obligations under Australian law (risk of harm to self or others, child protection, court orders). Please refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, 101 Group shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim.

Our services are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that our services will meet your specific requirements or that outcomes will be guaranteed. Mental health treatment outcomes vary between individuals.

These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales.

15. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via email or prominent notice on our website. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
